It’s a hands-on opportunity to do meaningful work that supports the places where people live, work, and move every day.
Join a dynamic, value-driven, client- and community-focused environment where your work creates a lasting positive impact for the people and communities we serve.
Core Responsibilities
Lead field survey activities for construction layout, boundary, and topographic projects, with safety and quality at the center of the work.
Operate and use Robotic Total Stations and RTK GPS equipment to collect, verify, and manage survey data in the field.
Read and interpret legal descriptions and survey plats, and calculate points needed to support accurate field layout.
Coordinate work in the field with site superintendents and communicate clearly about progress, needs, and changes.
Guide and delegate work for up to two crew members while also being comfortable working independently when needed.
Send, receive, and manage electronic survey files using a laptop and data collector to support efficient, well-documented field operations.
You’ll thrive here if you have
A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of relevant survey experience.
At least 3 years of experience in construction layout, boundary, and topographic survey work.
Strong working knowledge of Robotic Total Stations and RTK GPS.
Solid math skills and the ability to interpret plats, legal descriptions, and field data accurately.
The ability to work outdoors in changing weather and terrain, lift and carry up to 40 pounds, and work overtime when needed.
Flexibility to travel up to 60% of the time; an FAA Part 107 drone license is preferred, but not required.
